Terrance Osborne Gallery
I recently visited Terrance Osborne’s gallery. Terrance is a New Orleans native, who graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana. In 2017 he officially opened Terrance Osborne Gallery in the Irish Channel area in uptown New Orleans. His gallery remains one of the top galleries in the city. He has a line of prints, giclees, original art, and wearables. I really love the secondline mask.
Terrance Osborne Gallery is a colorful and soulful gallery on Magazine Street.

Studio Be
I visited Brandon Odums “B-Mike” gallery Studio Be in the Bywater area to check the final installment of the “BE” series. My favorite piece was the “Signs to Use When Dreamin of Freedom”, which aims to reimagine protest signs through the eyes of the generation. The photo below says “Ways to Fight The System As a Youngin”. Also, John Lewis and “Good Trouble” reminds me what that saying stood for: Vote always, Never too young to make a difference, Speak truth to power, Become a racial equity advocate and Never give up.
The gallery is usually open every Wednesday through Saturday from 2p-8p. On Christmas week, the gallery is currently open Monday - Friday from 12p-8p and closed on Christmas day. Wednesdays are free for Louisiana residents.
Love the merch and collection “I am my ancestors wildest dreams”.
I highly recommend you visit soon.

Artmazing Gallery
I took a tour of Artmazing Gallery this past weekend. The Gallery is open. I loved the colorful rooms and open space. It’s a really nice space to visit during COVID because there’s plenty of room to spread around. The space feels really ‘Feminine’ with the Barbie box, bath tub and giant bird cage, but the Males will love this. The Gallery is definitely for the creatives to explore with photography and colorful clothing. You can take selfies, ussies or get photos taken by a professional here.
I met the owner Giselle Monteiro, who is an artist. Giselle has plans of turning the space into an event space as well as a facility for tours. This space is a photographers dream. Giselle also plans on changing the themes in the rooms often to enhance the creativity. In fact, I hear the Christmas decorations are AMAZING. CHECK THEM OUT!

Jam Nola
My husband and I took the kids to JamNola Artist takeover last Saturday. As a content creator, I get invited to many tours and events. I do not say yes to everything and can’t make every event. That’s the part about creating content; you will not always be invited. Sometimes you have to start your own party. Other times, it makes sense to attend, and time is the greatest investment. On that note, JamNola does get my vote for being a safe setting for the entire family. I was not expecting them to be so flexible with kids because of the art and music setup. During COVID, I am not a fan of taking my kids everywhere. At first, I was reluctant, but the kids were excited to get out of the house. The kids enjoyed the private tour so much they wanted to go back for a second tour. You are only allowed one tour, and the tour max is 30 minutes. The venue is completely safe- you must wear a mask, and they book schedules in advance. JamNOLA did implement rigorous safety protocols that meet and, in some cases, exceed the safety protocols. There were a few rooms that were interactive for the kids with writing utensils and sticky notes. The kids LOVED the photo booths. Talk about a great way to use all of that energy. You can’t just walk in. I wish it weren’t as dark when we went because I would prefer taking advantage of the lighting and get better photos of the kids. I would also suggest dressing up in a costume. Get out of character, and have some fun. Bring a flash if you are there at night, but it is strongly suggested to bring kids during the day.
